- Levine v. McDonald's Corp., 735 F.Supp. 92 (S.D.N.Y. 1990) – action for copyright infringement regarding the song "Life Is a Rock," used in a McDonald's commercial
- Horgan v. MacMillan, Inc., 621 F.Supp. 1169 (S.D.N.Y. 1985) – action for copyright infringement of the choreography for the Nutcracker Ballet by a book of photographs of the ballet
- Warner Bros., Inc. v. Gay Toys, Inc., 598 F.Supp. 424 (S.D.N.Y. 1984) – accounting proceeding on a motion for contempt of a preliminary injunction based on an infringing replica of the "General Lee" car from "The Dukes of Hazzard" television show
