Ernest R. Malone

Ernest R. Malone, a partner in the New Orleans office of The Kullman Firm, one of the oldest and most experienced labor management and employment law firms in the United States, was interviewed about how to retain the best -- a systematic, positive employee relations program and leadership for American Airline's Forbes Business & Technology Channel. The show was titled “Focus on the Executive Employer; Best Practices & Leadership in Labor and Employment.”

Mr. Malone is active in all aspects of The Kullman Firm. He advises management about strategic planning, the development and administration of employment practices and policies, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, compliance with employment and antidiscrimination laws, union organizing and National Labor Relations Board elections. He also represents management in collective bargaining, administration of labor contracts, compensation and benefit matters.

Mr. Malone represents employers concerning the full spectrum of employment law and related litigation, including Title VII, ADEA, the ADA, FMLA and state employment laws.

Mr. Malone provides training to supervisors and managerial personnel on the work site and in industry seminars concerning both employment law compliance, effective employee relations and human resources administration. He also has contributed to the Developing Labor Law, published by the American Bar Association.

Mr. Malone has experience in a variety of industries such as banking, chemicals, communications, construction, distribution, wine and spirits, food processing, health care, hotels, inland waterway transportation, manufacturing, maritime, oil and gas, steel, computer and electronic technology and retail and wholesale operations.

He is listed in Who's Who in American Law and in The Best Lawyers in America for practice of labor and employment law.
